Welcome to my nightmare.....

I think you're gonna like it. Thank you Alice Cooper for that line.

Greetings:

This is my nail art for this week. I received my July/August copy of Nail It! magazine. As I'm thumbing through, I come across page 47. It looks like this.
Before I forget, I will say I am in no way affiliated with Nail It! mag.

I decided to give it a go. So away we go.  Vrooooom

Base coat of your choice. Always protect you nails from potential staining. Left pinkie, right thumb is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri In lprompt Blue.  Left index, right flip off finger is Cult El Porto. Left middle, right pinkie is Color Club Evolution. The rest of the remaining nails are Square Hue Beethoven Straat.

All of the little studs, rhinestones and neon studs I purchased from Amazon. They have really great pricing on nail art supplies. Depending on which country it ships from, it can get to you home pretty quickly.

I didn't have the stuff to do the ring finger the way they did it so I improvised with Mundo de Unas Silver stamping polish. The stamping plate Bundle Monster-211.  The teeny tiny stamper came from a set I bought at the local Big Lots...years ago.  To keep (hopefully) the studs from falling off, I used Nouveau Nail Professional Super Seal.  This stuff is awesome. When you put it on, it spells like you are in an acrylic nail shop. When you cure it for 60 seconds under an LED light, the smell miraculously vanishes. I bought mine from Premier Nail Source.

Enough chit chat, here is my final result.  I hope you enjoy this look. Any questions, drop me a note.

As always, thanks for dropping by.

Wishing you the very best Holiday season

Yes, I know it's been two months since my last post. My health issues have carried over for two months and I have been exhausted. I was finally feeling better and I lost someone very dear to me. When I was born. I was blessed with amazing parents, my Nana and my Aunt Wanda.  Wanda has always treated me like her own. I spent every minute of my childhood that I could at Wanda and Nana's house. It was home to me. My grandmother taught me how to iron, cook and sew among other things. I lost her when I was 11. Both parents passed away in 2003. Wanda was always there for me. She was like a second mom to me. She helped me with anything she could.  She babysat my six kids when I was a single parent going to school. She treated my kids like they were her own. She was an amazing woman. She worked at Grand Coulee Dam when it was being built, she traveled and she truly loved life. She was a Christian and she devoted her life to Jesus Christ. Back in July when I had surgery on my foo...

A woman is helpless only when her nail polish is drying......

My daughter gave me a sign that says just that as a gift. She is so right. I can cook anything I choose, change the oil in a car, change a tire and a hundred other things I learned along the way. Mess with me when my polish is drying, you are going to be in trouble. \ Seriously. Painting nail is an art, even if you are putting on one color. It's tricky,it takes practice and its frustrating as Hell if you have to start over. Be patient. Let a woman get her nails dry and everything is awesome.  Fortunately my kids aren't little anymore and then fend for themselves most of the time. Other times it's like this "Mom, Mooooom, I've cut my carotid artery! I'm bleeding!!"  Yes dear, I'll be right there. Let my nail polish dry. Seriously, it's never that severe. Funny though. On with the polish at hand.... I really like the Pro-Fx Nail Concealer. It makes a nice smooth base to work with. I use one coat. It dries fast which is a bonus. Who really...

Greetings fellow nail polish fans...

My daughter has been out of school for nine days due to the weather. At this moment, it  is snowing like a son of a gun. She's so bored. I recently received the latest copy of Nail It! magazine. It's the November/December issue. There are so many amazing ideas for nails. As I was perusing through it's pages, I came upon this. This was submitted by Nora Ramsdell, Richmond, VA @naq57.  I really liked the look of the gold and green/teal color. Very chic but simple too.  Here we go.  I started with a base coat. Your choice. As long as it works, you will be fine.  I like Green but not all Greens. I tend to gravitate towards the blue-green, green-blue, teal-y colors. I chose Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Re-teal Therapy. I love this brand. It drys quickly and on me, it lasts until I take it off. That's usually about 10 days. I used two coats. For the Gold, I decided to try something new. I usually use stamping polish. I have seen videos on YouTube...
