But the possibility is still possible.
Not really. I try to always do the right thing. Be the better person. You know what I'm talking about.
So I did my nails. Add then I had a revelation. Do something different, I said.
And here I am;. I'm going to cal it the "I wanted to love it...." blog post.
I am sure that everyone has bought something and after you got home, realized that it wasn't what you expected. Unless you live in a booming metropolis...I don not, you would have to drive at least 50 miles to return something. Fortunately, I can always find someone to share with.
And since I buy everything with my own funds, I promise to give you a brutally honest opinion.
Lets talk about.........Lip Sense.
Have you ever heard of Lip Sense? Long lasting lip stick that smells something akin to grain alcohol?
Well I tried it. My daughter in law seemed to like it so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
The color itself will run you $25. If you want a gloss top coat(which you must have) that's another $20. If you choose a matte top coat, yep another $20. If you slightly suck at applying lipstick...period, you are going to need Oops Remover. It does exactly that. Removes oops. That will be $10.
They do have quite a few color choices including 33 warm colors, 40 cool and 2 neutral.
According you are supposed to use three coats of color. You need to let each color dry before you put on the next coat. When the color is dry you put the matte/gloss to "seal in" the color'. Then you reapply the matte/gloss throughout the day.
When I use this on my lips, I use three coats. This is four coats to be able to see the color. The colors sometimes apply patchy, even if I have shaken the Hell out of them. On my lips, they would stay all day if I didn't move. Under normal wear, they don't last more than about two hours. Then I would reapply the color.
They come with a specific set of instructions that I followed to the letter. I am quite disappointed in the outcome.
Some of the colors seem to last better than others. For me the frost color stayed on about 5 minutes.
These might work better for you.
Funny thing is, I can't get the color off my arm. Sad day.
Thanks for stopping by.
