Hello January......Ok, so I'm a bit late.

So here we are, January 25th. I AM a bit late in blogging. Still having health issues and really not even wanting to get out of bed.

Recently, I ordered some polish from LLarowe web site. I am always looking for polish that I don't have anything like. If you are like me, this is the website for you! I ordered polish for my daughter for Christmas. It was gorgeous. I decided to try the "A Box Indeed" subscription box that LLarowe offers. Wow! I received 5 bottles of full size nail polish. The box is a  bit pricey at $50 dollars how evcr, I think they are well worth the money. The polishes colors are not available unless you purchase the box. The next post I do, I will swatch them for you.

Today's post is from the third order from LLarowe. The polish on my thumb, ring and pinky are Models Own Rhubarb & Custard. This is an absolutely awesome red polish with pink & red glitter. It covers in one coat but I used two.

The silver glitter on my pointer & middle finger is L.A. Girl Explosion. This has to be my all time favorite silver polish. The glitter is on the chunky side and in person, it is amazing. L.A. Girl also make a gold version of this polish. It's called Glitzy. You can find the L.A. Girl polish at Rite-Aid.

As always, I am not affiliated with L.A. Girl or LLarowe. All items mentioned in this video were purchased with my hard earned moolah.

Until next time, thanks for stopping by.

Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.......

Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr purr. If you watch the Big Bang Theory, you know where this comes from. I don't. But my daughter does. When I saw this polish on the Super Nails Etsy site, I had to get it for her. Me, being a cat lover, I had to get one for myself as well. Here is the link. https://www.etsy.com/shop/supernails This is a polish that has a sheer pink base. It is full of pink, grey and white tiny spots. It's not glitter, because it doesn't sparkle. The think that made me want to buy it is that it has white, pink and grey......kitty heads in it. I thought it was really cute. Let it begin: Base coat...check. Pro-Fx nail Concealer in Light/Medium. I don't know if I mentioned it but it come is Medium/Dark as well. One coat of this. Polish...check. If you aren't familiar with glitter type polish, it's applied differently than regular polish. For  me, the first coat is the base coat for the color. each following coat that I put on, I am pl...

Yes, I know....you thought I left the planet.

Hello all: It's been a beautiful day in my neck of the woods. It was 74 degrees today. Perfect day to be relaxing on the porch. And me with a cold. My great aunt had a screened porch. She died along time ago. I was 7. It doesn't look the same now but I am proud to say is is on The Historical Register. My mother loved this house. And she loved Auntie. The History lesson is over. But I know my brother and sisters won't forget this house. I found this post for pink and gray nails on Bloglovin. Here's the link.  http://frame.bloglovin.com/?post=4817501097&blog=4629175. I didn't want to use her picture without permission.  After you check out her link, this is what mine look like.  I used a base coat as always. Whichever you choose is fine. My goal, when I try to recreate looks, is to use what I have at home. Some colors are spot on. other are close enough to the original. On my pinkie, pointer and thumb I used Color Club She's Sooo Glam....

Happy Mother's Day.

Greetings:  I hope all of the Mother's have a blessed day. Children are amazing. I have seven of my own and many of my children's friends that I claim as my own. I bought some new polish on Thursday. I bought a dark pink, a nice blue, a sand color and a sparkly fairy dust color. The blue reminded me of my Mom's blue eyes.  I lost her in 2003. It doesn't get any easier. It's just life. I miss her terribly. She was very special. Let's get the show on the road. First, a base coat. Your choice. I used the Pro-Fx Nail Concealer in Light Medium. I used one coat to create a smooth surface. I chose Pure Ice Shine Rain & Shine. Thins is a nice cornflower blue. Two coats.  For the glitter I used Glitter Lambs Million Dollar Gradient. I love this color. It's gold, gold and more gold. It's  a "bam"in your face gold. With glitter polish, the first Coat you need to "place" more then "paint" it on. Th...
