It's really warm outside......

And I am cool as a cucumber inside. Boy am I glad.

Greetings nail polish friends......

Hope this post finds you well and comfortable in whichever weather you live in.  Today's nail art came from a pinterest post I saw. For my design I used China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway. This is an awesome dar blue cream. Close to Navy Blue. Two coats on my ringer finger.  For my thumb and the french tips on my other fingers I used Sally Hansen Hard As Nails  Extreme in Coral Reef. I think this is the perfect coral for summer. Not too pink, not to orange. Two coats of this. The polka dots on my ringer finger were made using the Coral Reef.

For the stamped image I used MASH 28 stamping plate. I bought this set on Amazon. The plates number from 26 to 49.  I think they were between $15 and $20 for the set. To stamp with, I used my all time favorite Mundo de Unas stamping polish in Blue Navy. I bought this color from the LLarowe website. Yes, I know it's been two months since my last post. My health issues have carried over for two months and I have been exhausted. I was finally feeling better and I lost someone very dear to me. When I was born. I was blessed with amazing parents, my Nana and my Aunt Wanda.  Wanda has always treated me like her own. I spent every minute of my childhood that I could at Wanda and Nana's house. It was home to me. My grandmother taught me how to iron, cook and sew among other things. I lost her when I was 11. Both parents passed away in 2003. Wanda was always there for me. She was like a second mom to me. She helped me with anything she could.  She babysat my six kids when I was a single parent going to school. She treated my kids like they were her own. She was an amazing woman. She worked at Grand Coulee Dam when it was being built, she traveled and she truly loved life. She was a Christian and she devoted her life to Jesus Christ. Hell's bells!!!!

Oops.... I didn't realize it had been two weeks since my last post. Since I apparently live in the new Arctic Circle, all I've had time to do is stay warm. My daughter has missed five days of school due to the weather. That's unheard of where I'm from. When I was in High School, I can't remember ever having a show day.  Maybe that was before Global Warming.  Who coul d tell. And is Global warming really a thing? Or is it something the Government made up to scare the Hell out of normal people like myself?  On that note....away we go.   This is the look I came up with for New Year's Eve. Did I go out? Nope. A woman is helpless only when her nail polish is drying......

My daughter gave me a sign that says just that as a gift. She is so right. I can cook anything I choose, change the oil in a car, change a tire and a hundred other things I learned along the way. Mess with me when my polish is drying, you are going to be in trouble. \ Seriously. Painting nail is an art, even if you are putting on one color. It's tricky,it takes practice and its frustrating as Hell if you have to start over. Be patient. Let a woman get her nails dry and everything is awesome.  Fortunately my kids aren't little anymore and then fend for themselves most of the time. Other times it's like this "Mom, Mooooom, I've cut my carotid artery! I'm bleeding!!"  Yes dear, I'll be right there. Let my nail polish dry. Seriously, it's never that severe. Funny though.
