I'm back......

Don't panic. All is well. :)

So....... I've been trying to be more pro-active w3ith my posts. SUnday is my day off so I am going to have a new Blog post every Sunday, rain or shine. Sort of like the U.S.P.S. \

I asked my daughter "What color should I paint my nails today?" Her response "I don't know." I said "Just pick a color." She said "Blue." Blue it is.

I'm really into the nail stamping right now . It's such an awesome concept. Artsy nails that anyone can do. Even if you aren't ambidextrous.  I have a bunch of nail stamping polish and stamping plates. The designs are never the same. Who'd of thought?

Pay no attention to the bottles of nail polish  magically suspended on the desk.

I started with the magical China Glaze Bahamian Escape. This it two coats you see on my last three fingers. This is a pretty mid-tone blue with a cream finish.

If you happen to notice my mistakes, be nice. I find it a waste of time to clean up after every step. Nail stamping is messy. Since I'm allergic to latex, that fancy paint on barrier is out of the question. Please bare with me.

After the China Glaze is dry, I stamped the nails using Mundo de Unas Light Gold. I stamped over that with Mundo de Unas Holland blue.
  \

I finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat. Tada. Blue nails. Just for you Bunny.  Bunny is my daughter's nickname. I call my other daughter Kitty. She like to meow outside my window and scare the crap out of me.

Here's some pictures of my supplies.....

From left to right: China Glaze Bahamian Blue, Mundo de Unas Light gold, Mundo de Unas Holland Blue.

I used Pueen stamping plate #80 first with the Light Gold. I stamped over that with the #77 plate and the  Holland Blue . I bought this set at Amazon. Here is the link.  http://www.amazon.com/PUEEN-Collection-24B-L-STAMPING-BUFFET/dp/B00P8HQZUO?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

The China Glaze you can buy just about anywhere. Ebay is a great place to shop if you want a specific color that you cant find in the store. The stamping polish I bought from a nail polish site that doesn't sell it any more. You can find it on the Mundo de Unas website. The link: http://www.mundodeunas.com/

I hope you like this look.

Thanks for stopping by.

A woman is helpless only when her nail polish is drying......

My daughter gave me a sign that says just that as a gift. She is so right. I can cook anything I choose, change the oil in a car, change a tire and a hundred other things I learned along the way. Mess with me when my polish is drying, you are going to be in trouble. \ Seriously. Painting nail is an art, even if you are putting on one color. It's tricky,it takes practice and its frustrating as Hell if you have to start over. Be patient. Let a woman get her nails dry and everything is awesome.  Fortunately my kids aren't little anymore and then fend for themselves most of the time. Other times it's like this "Mom, Mooooom, I've cut my carotid artery! I'm bleeding!!"  Yes dear, I'll be right there. Let my nail polish dry. Seriously, it's never that severe. Funny though. On with the polish at hand.... I really like the Pro-Fx Nail Concealer. It makes a nice smooth base to work with. I use one coat. It dries fast which is a bonus. Who really...

Say hello to my little friends.......

Hello little friends...... Greetings fans.  Here is my polish of the week. First off, I would like to thank Piggie Luv for the idea. I saw a post on Pinterest and had to attempt to recreate it. I thought it was really cute and it turned out to be really easy to do. \ Without further hesitation, here is  my creation. Base coat of your choice of course.  Always a base coat. I used Orly Goth on all my nails. It's obviously black but it dose have a tiny bit of shimmer to it. This is just one coat.  Then I made little balls of lines with white acrylic paint. Any white acrylic art paint will do. You can also use white polish. On My pinkies, I used China Glaze Heli-yum. This is a bright neon pinky/red color with a cream finish. Ring fingers I used China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin ( a dark yellow cream) and Square Hue Beethoven Straat (lime green cream).  Middle fingers was China Glaze Nasty, a bright berry cream.  Pointers, I used China Glaze Bahamian Escape...

Helloo Baaaaby.....

Those are the words of the immortal Big Bopper aka J. P. Richardson who died in a plane crash along with Buddy Holly and Richie Valens, February 3rd, 1959. Truly a great tragedy for the world. Haven't a clue what I'm talking about, look it up. My last post I was struggling to get my nails back in shape. Sadly, they would grow a bit longer than my fingertip and then peel. I couldn't have a Nail Art Blog without nails!! Well now I do. Let's check it out.  Here we are... I decided on this color because it's Spring in my neck of the woods. These are really simple, I think anyone could do them. These are PolyGel. Not a gel, not an acrylic. You do have to cure then in an LED/UV light but you could do them with regular polish and some nail art supplies. The pinky and thumb nail have gold nail foil on them. The ring finger has some glitter and a gold tone shield. The middle finger has some pearls and rhinestones attached. The index finger is my favorite. I starte...
