Schools out for summer.........

Pardon me Mr, Cooper but school starts again in two days.

I have one child out of sever still in school. She is an amazing child. Smart, funny, talented and beautiful. Just don't piss her off. It's like poking a bear.

This nail look was all my idea. I was trying to come up with something using my fimo fruit slices and here is it. Sort of.
I had originally purchased three neon colors from Salon Perfect at my local Wal-Mart to use with this look. Pink, green and orange. Not happening. The colors looked pretty but I put three coats over a white  base cost and it was still streaky. I chose a red instead. Now it looks like this.

This has to be one of THE most uncomfortable positions I put my hands in. Grrrr.
So I chose Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Sonic Bloom. One coat. Boo. Done. Gotta Love it. This is a pink-red-coral color. bright yet easy to apply. One coat.

I buy all my supplies at Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart or Walgreens. I bought the fimo slices at Amazon. It was about $4.

A woman is helpless only when her nail polish is drying......

My daughter gave me a sign that says just that as a gift. She is so right. I can cook anything I choose, change the oil in a car, change a tire and a hundred other things I learned along the way. Mess with me when my polish is drying, you are going to be in trouble. \ Seriously. Painting nail is an art, even if you are putting on one color. It's tricky,it takes practice and its frustrating as Hell if you have to start over. Be patient. Let a woman get her nails dry and everything is awesome.  Fortunately my kids aren't little anymore and then fend for themselves most of the time. Other times it's like this "Mom, Mooooom, I've cut my carotid artery! I'm bleeding!!"  Yes dear, I'll be right there. Let my nail polish dry. Seriously, it's never that severe. Funny though. On with the polish at hand.... I really like the Pro-Fx Nail Concealer. It makes a nice smooth base to work with. I use one coat. It dries fast which is a bonus. Who really...

Say hello to my little friends.......

Hello little friends...... Greetings fans.  Here is my polish of the week. First off, I would like to thank Piggie Luv for the idea. I saw a post on Pinterest and had to attempt to recreate it. I thought it was really cute and it turned out to be really easy to do. \ Without further hesitation, here is  my creation. Base coat of your choice of course.  Always a base coat. I used Orly Goth on all my nails. It's obviously black but it dose have a tiny bit of shimmer to it. This is just one coat.  Then I made little balls of lines with white acrylic paint. Any white acrylic art paint will do. You can also use white polish. On My pinkies, I used China Glaze Heli-yum. This is a bright neon pinky/red color with a cream finish. Ring fingers I used China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin ( a dark yellow cream) and Square Hue Beethoven Straat (lime green cream).  Middle fingers was China Glaze Nasty, a bright berry cream.  Pointers, I used China Glaze Bahamian Escape...
