Rain, rain go away.........

I knew if I washed my car on Friday, it would rain. Sorry all you weekend people thsat bike, hike, lion tame and what have you.

Last weeks post I talked about as new brand of Gel Polish I had tried. You remember, the one where every color is in a pink bottle? Yep, I knew you would remember.

I bought a set of 10 colors from Amazon. Previously, I bought five single colors. I decided to change things up a bit. Instead of one look, I would show you the colors of gel polish. For each of these colors, I used two coats and I cured them in a LED light for 60 seconds.

Away we go.

The first color is 006. It's a thermal color. When your hands are cold, it's a dark purple. When warm, its a pretty turquoise-y, teal-y blue. The bottom picture shows what it looks like blue.
013 is a mid tone cool taupe cream.
014 is a deep metallic burgundy.
015 is a metallic dark blue.
016 is a peach-y glitter.
017 is a deep red glitter.
018 is a pale pink glitter.
019 is an opaque mid tone pink cream
020 is a light metallic blue.
021 is as dark coral/red cream.
022 is as metallic pale peach.
023 is a beautiful silver glitter.
024 is s dark frosty plum.
030 is an opaque navy cream.
044 is an teal glitter.

This is what 006 like like when it's warm. If you look closely
you can see the purple at the bottom of the nail.
It's really pretty on your nails.

Well, that's it or today's post. This brand is Aimeili and you can buy it on Amazon.

Have a nice day. Don't forget your umbrella. :)

Thanks form stopping by.

Wishing you the very best Holiday season

Yes, I know it's been two months since my last post. My health issues have carried over for two months and I have been exhausted. I was finally feeling better and I lost someone very dear to me. When I was born. I was blessed with amazing parents, my Nana and my Aunt Wanda.  Wanda has always treated me like her own. I spent every minute of my childhood that I could at Wanda and Nana's house. It was home to me. My grandmother taught me how to iron, cook and sew among other things. I lost her when I was 11. Both parents passed away in 2003. Wanda was always there for me. She was like a second mom to me. She helped me with anything she could.  She babysat my six kids when I was a single parent going to school. She treated my kids like they were her own. She was an amazing woman. She worked at Grand Coulee Dam when it was being built, she traveled and she truly loved life. She was a Christian and she devoted her life to Jesus Christ. Back in July when I had surgery on my foo...

Hell's bells!!!!

Oops.... I didn't realize it had been two weeks since my last post. Since I apparently live in the new Arctic Circle, all I've had time to do is stay warm. My daughter has missed five days of school due to the weather. That's unheard of where I'm from. When I was in High School, I can't remember ever having a show day.  Maybe that was before Global Warming.  Who coul d tell. And is Global warming really a thing? Or is it something the Government made up to scare the Hell out of normal people like myself?  On that note....away we go.   This is the look I came up with for New Year's Eve. Did I go out? Nope. Did I have a Gourmet dinner party for 20 at  my home? Again, nope. I never do  things like have dinner parties. I just thought it was New Year's Eve-ish looking. Yes I know that isn't correct Grammar. And no, I don't care. If people can say "A'ight or turnt." I can say  Eve-ish. Get with the program teachers. Start teaching c...

Greetings fellow nail polish fans...

My daughter has been out of school for nine days due to the weather. At this moment, it  is snowing like a son of a gun. She's so bored. I recently received the latest copy of Nail It! magazine. It's the November/December issue. There are so many amazing ideas for nails. As I was perusing through it's pages, I came upon this. This was submitted by Nora Ramsdell, Richmond, VA @naq57.  I really liked the look of the gold and green/teal color. Very chic but simple too.  Here we go.  I started with a base coat. Your choice. As long as it works, you will be fine.  I like Green but not all Greens. I tend to gravitate towards the blue-green, green-blue, teal-y colors. I chose Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Re-teal Therapy. I love this brand. It drys quickly and on me, it lasts until I take it off. That's usually about 10 days. I used two coats. For the Gold, I decided to try something new. I usually use stamping polish. I have seen videos on YouTube...
