No, I'm not really dead.......

I just feel like it about 99.999% of the time. It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.

So, I'v been off the grid due to health issues. As I'm sure all 56 of you who like my posts know, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. It's a nasty bit of business and it has made my life extremely difficult.

I'm no longer working so I'll have all the time in the world to post.

Previously, I posted about nail art. Since my last day of work was 11/28/18, I've taken off my gel nails and started over.

At first I was using Barielle Thickener, Hardener and Growth Activator. I purchased these at Amazon. I used then for one month. I've hard good things about Barielle products. For me, I didn't see much improvement in my nails.

Years ago I had tried NailTek. I liked the results and my nails looked great. Did I leave them alone? Hell no! I put my acrylics back on.

I have now started a new regime with NailTek for weak, damaged nails. If you are wondering, I purchased this product at Amazon as well. So far, I see less peeling of my nails.

You apply the NailTek weekly, then you remove it and reapply. I'm going to see how it works.

I will post next week and we will both see if there is and change.

Hello all: It's been a beautiful day in my neck of the woods. It was 74 degrees today. Perfect day to be relaxing on the porch. And me with a cold. My great aunt had a screened porch. She died along time ago. I was 7. It doesn't look the same now but I am proud to say is is on The Historical Register. My mother loved this house. And she loved Auntie. The History lesson is over. My goal, when I try to recreate looks, is to use what I have at home. Some colors are spot on. other are close enough to the original. When I saw this polish on the Super Nails Etsy site, I had to get it for her. Me, being a cat lover, I had to get one for myself as well. Greetings: I hope all of the Mother's have a blessed day. Children are amazing. I have seven of my own and many of my children's friends that I claim as my own. I bought some new polish on Thursday. I bought a dark pink, a nice blue, a sand color and a sparkly fairy dust color. The blue reminded me of my Mom's blue eyes. I lost her in 2003. It doesn't get any easier. It's just life. I miss her terribly. She was very special. Let's get the show on the road. First, a base coat. Your choice. I used the Pro-Fx Nail Concealer in Light Medium. I used one coat to create a smooth surface. I chose Pure Ice Shine Rain & Shine. Thins is a nice cornflower blue. Two coats. For the glitter I used Glitter Lambs Million Dollar Gradient.
