Stamping 101

So, a couple of weeks ago, I tried to stamp my nails. Holy Hell. I tried everything without success. I thought to myself "I can do this!" The first thing I did was buy some Mundo de Unas stamping polish. The second thing I did was check out you tube. Trust me when I say I have looked at a bazillion you tube videos, many on nail stamping. I came across one channel that helped me immensely was a channel with 3140babygirl. I will put her channel link here ---->https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu6v48BvdeLN--6bnnR6yoA. She has a Stamping 101 video that I thought was really awesome. You should check her out. You wont be disappointed.   On my thumb, middle and ring finger I used China Glaze For Audrey. This is a Tiffany box blue/green color with a cream finish. If you don't have it, you should pick it up.  To stamp, I used Mundo De Unas stamping polish in 22 Brown. I can't stress enough, if you are going to stamp your nails, get some of this. I have some Konad an...

Hello ladies......

Greetings. I hope everyone is having the nice weather we are in my corner of the world.  Even though we didn't get me than a pinch of snow, it was really cold. Had a birthday, which my family made really special. I won't say I'm older, just more preserved. :) Today's polish look is based on the black gel polish I had on my nails. Since I have acrylics on at this moment, I don't soak the gel off. I work around it. Sadly there isn't enough time in a day to re-do a gel manicure. Here's the look. The black gel polish is SuperNail ProGel in Deep Abyss. I really like this brand. It stays on until I take it off and I have minimal, minimal chipping with it. I ordered mine off of ebay. I think you could find it at most beauty supply stores. I use the ProGel primer, base and top coat as well. It will cure under either a LED or a UV light. The silver glitter on my ringer finger is my favorite L.A. Girl Explosion. I love this polish. The silvery-gray poli...

More polish!!

Greetings!! My last posted, I talked about "A Box Indeed" from the LLarowe website. This is a subscription box but I think it's amazing. Ive tried other boxes but I always got 4 out of the five products that I couldn't wear. Thank God for daughters.  This box comes with five Indie polishes and runs $50 dollars per box. You can get one box or repeating monthly boxes. I love nail polish (Hence the nail blog)  The only colors I don't buy are yellow and orange. I have both those colors but I use them with other colors or as an accent. So without further adieu, here are the polishes that came in the January box. First polish is CrowsToes Overtime til Springtime.                    It's a pink glitter with holographic glitter and circles. This is three coats. It's so pretty. Polish two is Black Cat Lacquer. It's a black base with  multicolored moons, stars, gl...

Hello January......Ok, so I'm a bit late.

So here we are, January 25th. I AM a bit late in blogging. Still having health issues and really not even wanting to get out of bed. Recently, I ordered some polish from LLarowe web site. I am always looking for polish that I don't have anything like. If you are like me, this is the website for you! I ordered polish for my daughter for Christmas. It was gorgeous. I decided to try the "A Box Indeed" subscription box that LLarowe offers. Wow! I received 5 bottles of full size nail polish. The box is a  bit pricey at $50 dollars how evcr, I think they are well worth the money. The polishes colors are not available unless you purchase the box. The next post I do, I will swatch them for you. Today's post is from the third order from LLarowe. The polish on my thumb, ring and pinky are Models Own Rhubarb & Custard. This is an absolutely awesome red polish with pink & red glitter. It covers in one coat but I used two. The silver glitter on my pointer ...
