Spring is in the air......

It's about time!! I thought Spring would never get here. That damn groundhog Phil said on February 2nd didn't see his shadow. It's April. That's eight weeks of waiting...patiently.

In my neck of the woods, Spring is always so welcome. Our winters are rather cold. This winter wasn't much different. Except for the fact that there was so much snow I got stuck not once but twice in the same week. Grrrr

On to other things. I thought I would make my nail art simple but Springy. I guess you could say it's my take on negative space nail art.

It's quick and it's easy. It is comprised base/top coat, stamping polish, a stamping plate, stamper and scraper. If you have ever stqamped designs on your nails, I think you will like this.

I used a base coat as always. I think I'm going to just leave out the brand. A base coat is a base coat is a base coat. In my opinion, they all pretty much work the same. It's your choice, I'm sure you have your own favorite.

To stamp, I used Pueen SE01B. As you can see, I am pointing to part I stamped from.

I used Mundo de Unas Pink #10 as the stamping polish. Add a top coat and Voila!. Spring flowers.

Like I said, quick and easy. I hope you enjoy this quick tutorial.

Another sunny Saunday

And hotter then Hell. When it's already 75 degrees at 7:30 in the morning, you know it's going to be hot. Too freaking hot. Greetings: I hope all of the Mother's have a blessed day. Children are amazing. I have seven of my own and many of my children's friends that I claim as my own. I bought some new polish on Thursday. I bought a dark pink, a nice blue, a sand color and a sparkly fairy dust color. The blue reminded me of my Mom's blue eyes. I lost her in 2003. It doesn't get any easier. It's just life. I miss her terribly. She was very special. Let's get the show on the road. First, a base coat. Your choice. I used the Pro-Fx Nail Concealer in Light Medium. I used one coat to create a smooth surface. I chose Pure Ice Shine Rain & Shine. Thins is a nice cornflower blue. Two coats. For the glitter I used Glitter Lambs Million Dollar Gradient.
